The Pastoral Ministry Program

The Kern Family Foundation’s Pastoral Ministry Program exists to develop exceptional pastors to lead healthy churches.  It began in 2002 and has grown to include four distinct but interrelated and mutually reinforcing initiatives.

Our founders Drs. Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern have a deep and abiding appreciation for excellent pastoral leadership.  They believe that healthy local churches led by capable, committed pastors transform the moral fabric of our society in unique and positive ways. 

Rev. Fred Oaks serves as Program Director of the Pastoral Ministry Program.
